Church Finance

Catshill Baptist Church has a policy of not fund raising for the work of the church as we believe that God has establised a community of believers in the Catshill area and as such the members and congregation are responsible for the upkeep and work. We are a people saying Yes to God in all areas of our lives including our finances. However we are most grateful when we are blessed by gifts donated by vistors. We are truly thankful that God blesses us in this way.

There are a number of ways that you can contribute to the work of Catshill Baptist Church which are described below alternatively email Andrew Shirley (Treasurer)

Weekly Offering

Each week an offering is taken as part of our worship. This is primarily for congregation and church members and visitors are under no obligation to contribute. Many people already use other ways of giving and let the bags pass by. If you intend to give this way and are a tax payer please consider gift aiding you gift either by completing a Gift Aid form or using an envelope which can be found in the foyer.

If you wish to use the Gift Aid system but generally donate using cash in the weekly offering, this is ideal for you. You will be issued with a years supply of envelopes with your own unique number to enable the Treasurer to identify your gift and reclaim the tax.

Standing Order

Many members find it convenient to set up a Standing Order to donate either on a weekly or monthly basis. This is a popular and easy way to give. Again if you are a tax payer don't forget to Gift Aid your donation. You can download a Standing Order form by clicking on the download option below, which, when completed,  should be forwarded to your bank for them to action. Download Standing Order form  

Whichever way you choose, we are extremely grateful - why not ensure you Gift Aid it?

Tax efficifiency:
If you are a tax payer click here to download a Gift Aid form. By completing and returning this form, we can increase your financial gift by a further 25% by reclaiming the tax from the Inland Revenue.  This one declaration is effective for the whole time you are a UK tax payer.  If you stop paying tax you will need to notify us.

You can also make a donation immediatley using either a debit or credit card or using your own PayPal account. To access these facilities click on the "Donate Now" or "Donate" Icon and you will be directed to the Charity Choice or PayPal pages accordingly.
