Sunday Services

Our Sunday services at Catshill Baptist Church are a really important part of who we are. We meet every Sunday at 10:30am and at 6:30pm (Please note that on the last Sunday of every month we do not have an evening service) The services, which usually last between 75 - 90mins, are informal, friendly, welcoming and lively, as well as providing times for reflection. We also include an excellent childrens programme (see below)  Normally our Minister Neil Bennett or our Associate Minister Alan Pain provides sound biblical preaching/teaching, you can listen to some of the recent sermons  by clicking on ‘Listen Again’ in the menu bar.

We  celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month in the morning, and the third Sunday of every month in the evening.

There is a great childrens/youth work including TLC the crèche facility for toddlers 0 - 4yrs old, Xcellr8 for 5 - 10yrs old and ReFuel for 11-14 yrs old. Members of NITROUS, which is for those over 14, are encouraged to stay in the main church. When Neil, our Minister, preaches he normally provides sermon notes for NITROUS, believing that our young people need to be nurtured and encouraged in their faith. All leaders and helpers running children and youth activities are CRB checked.

The worship at CBC is modern, led by a large worship band, with various worship leaders and a good variety of musicians and singers.

Here are some people’s reactions to the worship at CBC:

“It’s really good and it varies each week, I prefer it when it’s lively”[Vickie]

 “Engaging, spirit filled and sensitive”[Sarah]

 “Adventurous” [Rik]

Why not come and see for yourself. We look forward to meeting you.
